One partner loves the African savannah, the other is into multi-media. A challenge for garden designer Bert Huls, who managed to combine both preferences into a single garden.
The key feature in this garden are the white screens with the zebra and barcode print, and the multi-functional roofing in black paint. The roofing houses a storage space, a cooking unit and a television set that can be swivelled towards the large lounge sofa. The slanted sides are a key design feature but they are also practical. Cooking out of the wind and watching TV without too much sunlight. Barbecueing is no problem either! The tailor-made hard-stone barbecue is set in the middle of the garden.
