Garden Idea Award 2008 for Hillhout's Coolfit Pavilon

ZWOLLE / BERKENWOUDE - Hillhout and Nesling shared the 2008 Garden Idea Award, which they won with their Coolfit Sun Blinds Pavilion Excellent. The prize was awarded on 2 March at the 2008 Garden Ideas 'Life in Balance' trade fair in Den Bosch (the Netherlands).

Responding to demand for decorative and multifunctional roofing, Hillhout developed the Coolfit Sun Blinds Pavilion Excellent in cooperation with Nesling, the manufacturer of Coolfit shade cloths. It is no surprise that this pavilion was an immediate prize winner at the 2008 Garden Ideas trade fair,

as the product can be described as innovative, practical and decorative. The beams of the pavilion are 9x9 cm thick and consist of water-resistant glued beam sections, which limits working and splitting of the wood to a minimum. The Coolfit harmonica shade cloth can be slid open or closed with a pulley system, and is fit for many years of use between April through September.

The Coolfit Sun Blinds Pavilion Excellent is made of northern European deal wood that has been treated with pressure impregnation in order to protect it from wood rot for many years. With Hillhout's 10 year guarantee against wood rot! The mould-resistant Coolfit harmonica shade cloth is supplied with stainless steel assembly material and a 5-year guarantee against UV degradation. The pavilion is supplied as a self-assembly package with clear assembly instructions.
