Can I find assembly tips on this website?
Yes, if applicable, the relevant product has a link to 'Assembly tips'. Can I place panels directly on the ground?
We recommend placing the panels just off the ground in order to prevent wood rot. Our pergola seems to have a lot of cracks in summer. Is that a bad sign?
No, it is not a bad sign. Wood splits due to the natural expansion and contraction (lengthwise) and will not affect the strength of your pergola. When the weather gets colder, they normally close up naturally. Can I set wooden posts in concrete?
We do not recommend this, as the wood will contract and expand. Additionally, moisture can accumulate, which could cause problems. I want to lay wooden tiles on my patio, can I simply nail them down?
No, it is better to pre-drill holes and then screw them down with stainless steel screws. How do I maintain my wooden Hillhout furniture set?
Hillhout's wooden furniture has been subjected to pressure impregnation and therefore does not require any further maintenance. You can paint them if you want colour. (Ask your paint specialist). We have large flower pots that we have to put indoors when it freezes. Does that apply to your column planters too?
No. The main benefit of wooden flower planters is that they are frost-resistant.
